SAFECAP® is a single-use, Triple Mylar® wrapped capillary tube with a super absorbent plug that automatically seals on contact with blood.
The Mylar® wrap significantly reduces exposure to potentially life-threatening blood-borne pathogens and glass fragments, while the self-sealing plug eliminates manual sealing with clay and reduces centrifuge blowouts.
